Lichfield St Chad Rotary have donated £5,000 to Midlands Air Ambulance from the proceeds of the Cars in the Park 2012 event.
Vice president Mike Cook presented the cheque to representatives from the charity.
Jason Levy, from the Midlands Air Ambulance, said: “Donations like this are a crucial part of the work we carry out to raise the £6million per year to keep our three air ambulances operational.”
The good cause will again be the main charity for this year’s Cars in the Park which will be taking place in Beacon Park on July 6 and 7.
This year’s event will be the 15th time it has been run and is expected to host around 1,000 classic and modern cars.
