Nobody’s Perfect Productions are currently working on their production of World of Pain, the follow-up to their comedy House of Pain.

However, despite casting for the past three weeks, they have been unable to find the right person for one of their key roles in the show which will appear on stage at the Lichfield Garrick’s Studio theatre.

Artistic director Paolo Allen explained:

“We have met and auditioned some wonderful actors and actresses and the main cast is now complete and I am extremely happy with the result. However, we need a young male actor from about the ages of 23 to 35 who is tall, slim, good looking and can play a wide range of roles at the drop of a hat.

“We would love to hear from a local actor, as developing talent from our home town is very important to us, who thinks they may have the qualities we need and of course, have the time and availability to work with us on Phil Preece’s brand new play.”

World of Pain sees the cast from the first play enjoying their new, cash-rich lifestyle, but sadly they are still the same simple, unsophisticated and innocent folk they were before.

The comedy comes thick and fast as the actors lurch from one hilarious and increasingly outrageous situation to another.

As well as touring across the region from May, the play will also be at the Lichfield Garrick Studio from June 9.
