Lichfield vet set to take on the London Marathon

Published:

A Lichfield vet is getting ready to pound the streets of the capital in the London Marathon.

Noelle Lowry, who works at Pool House Equine Clinic, will be running in aid of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Trust.

She has set a fundraising target of £1,500 on her JustGiving page and has also set herself a personal goal for the marathon:

“The Flora London Marathon is a very tough challenge, but I’m training hard and I’m confident I will make it to the finish in four-and-a-half hours.”

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Trust provides a range of library and information services and it funds grants for veterinary professionals to encourage further education, training and research in veterinary medicine at all professional levels.
