A Lichfield museum is hosting a Mother’s Day event.
Erasmus Darwin House is giving visitors the chance to tour the historic building, plant a herb and make a unique card on April 3 from 11.30am to 3pm.
Alison Wallis, curator/manager, said:
“It’s wonderful on this special day for children to have some fun and learn a little about herbs, culinary or medicinal, that were so important to Erasmus Darwin in his life as a successful Doctor in Lichfield.”
Homemade cake and tea and coffee will be available in the Georgian tearoom.
Entrance to the event is free for mums. For more information call Erasmus Darwin House on 01543 306260.
