LICHFIELD youngster Finlay Lines has celebrated a successful debut in the WSK Final Cup.
The city karting ace took on almost 70 drivers across three events in Italy in October and November.
Making his bow in the OK Junior class with the Energy Corse Factory Team and faced with the challenge of adapting to a new section and chassis, Lines impressed throughout the season as he went up against drivers and teams from around the world.
Starting the season with a top 16 finish in the opening weekend at Franciacorta, the city racer worked hard to make the best of every opportunity, meaning that he would qualify for the final in the remaining two events.
Lines demonstrated his pace and racing ability, finishing inside the top 36 at Cremona and ending the campaign inside the top 25 at South Garda Karting.
