LOCAL talent is set to be showcased at a gig in Burntwood.
The Lichfield Arts and Creative Burntwood show is taking place at Burntwood Rugby Club on 8th May.
The Emerging Talent Takeover is part of a programme supporting early-career artists and young people to develop their skills, gain experience and take their first steps into the creative industries.
The Burntwood showcase will feature solo artists and bands, including Lichfield-based alt-rock outfit L’Exterieur, pop-punk group Snapped, indie-folk singer-songwriter Lauren Mary music student Finn Hawkins.
A Lichfield Arts spokesperson said:
“The event promises an energetic, grassroots atmosphere and a chance to discover the region’s next wave of talent.”
The gig takes place at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 from the Lichfield Garrick website.
