A LOCAL developer says work has been completed on an £11million housing scheme in Lichfield.

Cameron Homes has built 30 properties as part of the Sandbrook scheme in Streethay.

The development includes 11 affordable homes delivered for Trent and Dove Housing.

Work was completed in 15 months and saw the open market properties sell for between £350,000 and £850,000.

Paul Morrisey, Cameron Homes’ operations director, said:

“We are thrilled to have concluded the construction and sales for our Sandbrook development in such an efficient time frame.

“Streethay is such a popular location due to the walkability into the centre of Lichfield and the convenience of having such a well-connected mainline train station so close by. The Ofsted-outstanding rated Streethay Primary School and a range of local amenities are also only a short walk from the site.

“The 19 open market homes sold out ahead of the build programme in only six months and it has been really rewarding to see our customers move in and make themselves at home.”
