People are being invited to join a Burntwood church for lunch this weekend.
Chase Terrace Methodist Church, on Princess Street, will be cooking up home-made soup and bread rolls on Saturday (April 16) from 12noon to 2pm.
Lunches cost £3 and will be followed by a raffle and stalls selling cakes and other goodies.
The church’s senior steward, Barbara Bevan, said: “We are looking forward to a successful and enjoyable lunchtime and send out a warm welcome to the local community to come and join us – it will be a ‘souper’ event!”
