A man has been arrested in connection with a spate of drainage cover thefts.
Police have been investigating after more than 30 were taken from locations across Staffordshire, including ones in Kings Bromley.
A Ford Transit van was stopped by officers in Cannock at around 2am on Saturday (18th June) and a 32-year-old from the area was arrested on suspicion of burglary and four counts of theft.
He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
