Man charged over crash that left Lichfield moped rider dead

A man has been charged after a crash in Lichfield which left a man dead.

Benjamin Warrington, 24 and from Agincourt Road in the city, died when his moped was hit by a lorry just north of the Streethay slip-road on the A38 in February.

A 43-year-old from West Bromwich has been charged with failing to stop after a road traffic collision and failing to report the collision.

He has been bailed to appear before magistrates at Burton on September 3.
