A man has been jailed after £30,000 of cars were stolen in Little Aston.
The VW Golf and BMW 1 Series were taken from a property in November 2022 after the keys were stolen in a burglary.
Reece Williams-Brown, 23, of Brownhills, Walsall, was jailed for two years and four months after he admitted burglary dwelling and two counts of vehicle theft at Birmingham Crown Court.
He was arrested on 27th January by officers from the Central Motorway Police Group after being linked forensically to the scene.
Detective Inspector Andy Bryan said:
“Officers across the force are working hard to action the priorities of our communities and this is another example of that.
“We launched our dedicated vehicle crime initiative called Operation Bormus in June last year and have been making significant progress on this area of criminality since.
“Those who intend to steal from our communities will be robustly targeted and we’re hopeful that we can achieve more results like this in the near future.”
