A service marking the anniversary of the surrender of Japan to end the Second World War will be held at the National Memorial Arboretum.

A service marking the anniversary of the surrender of Japan to end the Second World War will be held at the National Memorial Arboretum.

It will take place at midday tomorrow (15th August) in the Millennium Chapel and will be followed by a wreath laying ceremony at the Malayan Volunteer Force Memorial.

The event is being organised by the Malayan Volunteers Group.
