New proposals to build houses on land in Lichfield have been put forward.
A previous development to put 13 properties on The Rosaries off St Michael Road was rejected by councillors in April.
But a new application has been put forward to build 12 new homes on the land.
A planning statement said the previous refusal due to issues with trees and biodiversity on the site had been addressed by the latest plans, which would see three two bedroom homes, six three-bedroom properties and three four bedroom dwellings.
“Each property has designated off-street parking with single storey garages proposed to serve six of the properties.
“An electric vehicle charging point will be installed at each property. A shed/cycle storage facility will be provided for each of the properties without a garage.”

The land is currently accessed from Trent Valley Road, but the development would see amendments to this.
“The scheme includes a new access of St Michael Road. This has been designed to incorporate pedestrian facilities in the form of a 1.5m wide over-runnable walkway, enhanced signage to advise motorists that pedestrians are in the carriageway and provide adequate pedestrian visibility.
“The existing access into the site from Trent Valley Road will be accessible for the existing residents at Paradise Cottage and Birch Cottage only. An electric gate is proposed to prohibit vehicle access by residents of the new properties.”
