A new restaurant near Lichfield has appointed a manager and head chef.
The Grill Inn at Drayton Manor Theme Park opens on Monday (August 8).

Ahead of the opening, Abbas Zaidi has been named as manager while Lee Holland will take on the head chef role.
The restaurant will be open daily from 10am and will serve lunch and dinner, from a menu including steak, rib, chicken and fish dishes, which are locally sourced.
Abbas has over ten years experience in the restaurant industry, having worked for both independent and international chain establishments including Yo Sushi.
Lee has previously worked at Tanners Restaurant in Plymouth, Devon, which won AA Restaurant of the Year whilst under his leadership.
Colin Bryan, Managing Director, Drayton Manor Theme Park, said:
“We’re really pleased to welcome Abbas and Lee to the Drayton Manor family. They each bring with them a wealth of experience and a real passion for excellent food and customer service and I’m confident that together they will ensure the success of The Grill Inn.
“Our plan for the next few years is to turn Drayton Manor Theme Park into a leisure resort. This restaurant is part of that plan, as is our new hotel, which is due to open on August 15.”
The Grill Inn has booth seating accommodating 188 people internally, as well as an additional 40 people on the patio. It has been created following a £350,000 refurbishment of the former Missanda Suite, which had been one of the park’s hospitality venues for private and corporate functions since 1954.
The restaurant will also have a separate lounge and bar area, along with two dining rooms, which can be hired for private events.
