A Lichfield organisation has received a belated Christmas gift after a pre-school group said thank you for their new toys.
Stepping Stones, in Alrewas, were one of the recipients of a donation after Lichfield Round Table hosted their annual festive tableau with Santa in December.
They put the money to good use by purchasing new toys for the youngsters who “absolutely adore them” – and forwarded the fundraisers details of their new goodies.
Stuart Clark, Chairman of Lichfield Round Table, said: “Every year we put a lot of time and effort into raising money for good causes in Lichfield and the surrounding villages.
“It’s great to get feedback like this and to see how we are making a difference.”
