An online breakfast briefing is being held for voluntary and community groups applying for a share of thousands of pounds of funding from Lichfield District Council.
The local authority’s Voluntary and Community Sector funding programme will see a total of £489,90o awarded over the next three years.
Groups will be able to apply for a minimum of £1,000 to help support their work and local projects.
Cllr Richard Cox, Lichfield District Council’s cabinet member for community engagement, said:
“The funding programme will help many voluntary groups continue to deliver vitally important services to their communities.
“The online breakfast briefing is designed to help groups with the application process and answer any questions they may have.”

The application process is held in two stages, with the first being an online form completed by 10th November. Successful groups will then be invited to produce a project delivery plan.
The support organisations in applying, the informal online session will take place at 10am on 3rd November.
