THE Lichfield Squash Festival will be returning to encourage people to consider taking up the sport.

Organised by Lichfield Squash Club, the event will take place on 26th September at King Edward VI School.

The day will start at 10am with open court sessions for children and adults, before the club's finals take place from 1pm.

A spokesperson said:

"The festival is free to attend and open to everyone. Members, families, friends, juniors, parents, returning players and complete beginners are all welcome.

"We're hoping the event will help us continue to build local interest in squash, especially among juniors, women and girls, families and adults who may not have played before but are looking for a fun and social way to get active."
