A PROJECT in Burntwood is preparing for its second year of bringing arts to the local community.
The Creative Burntwood initiative is funded by the Arts Council's Place Partnership Fund with the aim of "enriching culture" and bringing live entertainment to the town.
The second year will feature laughs from Manford's Comedy Club and a range of kids shows, including Magical Honey at Chase Terrace Community Club, Makebeth at Ashmole Bowls and Social Club and The Witch Who Couldn't Sleep at Burntwood Memorial Institute.
Other shows on the schedule are Secrets of the Selkie Sea, The Zoo that Comes to You and Babies Adventures in Music.
Older residents can enjoy music from Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman, as well as spooky stories in Tales After Dark at Burntwood Library.
There will also be festive favourites as St Anne's Church hosts A Christmas Carol and the Ashmole Bowls and Social Club hosts an immersive production of A Christmas Story.
The full schedule and ticket details can found at creativeburntwood.com.
