Pedestrian killed in Fradley car collision

A pedestrian has died following an incident in Lichfield.

The incident happened at 1:40am this morning on the A38 at Fradley Park. An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and incident support officer were despatched to the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived on scene to find a car and pedestrian that had been in collision.

“The pedestrian, a man, was immediately assessed on scene. Unfortunately despite the best efforts of ambulance crews nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased.”
