FIVE homes could be built on land at Hints if plans are given the go-ahead.
The development of the “custom and self-build” properties has been proposed for the site off Watling Street.
A planning statement submitted to Lichfield District Council said:
“The land has been used as part of a wider open paddock that involves the hillside and top to the rear of the site and the swathe of land running to the rear of properties along Watling Street and Hints Lane.
“The proposals have been designed to minimise impact upon the area by placing the dwellings discreetly towards the middle of the site where they will maintain the established building line while having some screening to the front of the site to mitigate visual impact upon Watling Street.
“The access will be off a new private drive carefully located to maintain suitable visibility whilst minimising impacts upon neighbouring properties. “
