A FRADLEY restaurant could be converted into a “community-focused” micropub if plans are approved.
Unit 7B at The Stirling Centre is currently occupied by Bilash.
But plans have now been submitted by Fisher Micropub Ltd for the new venture which would accommodate 40 to 50 seats.
The application to Lichfield District Council for the change of use said the premises would retain the existing kitchen area to allow for bar snacks and occasional street food to be offered.
A statement said:
“The proposed use has been carefully designed to operate in a low-impact, community-oriented manner, ensuring compatibility with the surrounding area.
“The development will not give rise to unacceptable impacts and will provide a positive addition to the local area.”
Full details can be found on Lichfield District Council’s planning website.
