LICHFIELD City’s county cup clash with Newcastle Town has been called off.
An issue with the power supply at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium this evening (25th September) saw the fixture cancelled shortly before kick-off.
It’s the second last-gasp postponement in a row for City who also saw their trip to Tividale called off due to heavy rain.
Both fixtures will be replayed at a later date.
