LABOUR councillors in Burntwood are hosting their first advice surgery of 2025 this weekend.
Members of Lichfield District Council and Burntwood Town Council will be at Burntwood Library from 10am to 11am tomorrow (4th January).
A spokesperson said:
“This will be the first of their regular surgeries held on the first Saturday in each month at the library.
“Councillors from wards across Burntwood will be on hand to help with questions or complaints.
“They would also like to hear about residents’ views of the proposed local government changes which will mean an end to the current two-tier structure of ‘principle authorities’ locally, namely Staffordshire County Council and Lichfield District Council.
“Burntwood Town and other parish councils will not be changed.”
