A LOCAL restaurant has served up a £1,500 donation to We Love Lichfield.
Eastern Eye raised the funds during a special evening to celebrate its new menu.
Owner Abdul Salam said:
“I have seen what We Love Lichfield does to support so many organisations across the district and I wanted to help too.
“I was delighted to welcome so many people to enjoy my new menu and of course raise money for this special cause.”
Simon Price, patron of We Love Lichfield, said:
“A huge thanks to Abdul and his team for being such great hosts. It was the most delicious food and we raised lots of cash for local good causes – it was a perfect evening.”
