Charlie Blakemore has urged Chasetown FC’s fans to play their part in his side’s attempts to reach the last four of the FA Trophy.
The Scholars face Mansfield Town in the quarter-finals tomorrow (February 26) in front of a near 2,000 capacity sell-out crowd.
The Chasetown boss believes the noisy away support was vital to his side’s triumph at Eastleigh in the last round and is hoping their home clash with the Stags will see the volume raised even further.
He told The Lichfield Blog:
“I’m hoping on Saturday we can really get the singing, the noise and the atmosphere going because the lads responded to it at Eastleigh and I know that they’ll respond to it on Saturday.”
