Chasetown FC may have to plan for their FA Trophy quarter final clash without loan midfielder Richard Davies after his parent club indicated they were likely to recall him.

Davies – who scored in the Scholars’ historic 3-1 win at Eastleigh to set up their next tie with Mansfield – has been on loan from Telford for three months.

And Bucks boss Andy Sinton has admitted he will more than likely recall Davies now his loan spell has expired.

He told the Shropshire Star:

“I’d only think about bringing him back if he was likely to be featuring for us and I’d have to say he’s got a good chance.”
