Lichfield Superbikes star Gary Mason could be set to rejoin the Tyco Honda team.
Owner Ian Woollacott has revealed talks have gone ahead between the team and Mason – although no deal has yet been signed.
The Lichfield man was with the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team last season, but saw bad luck and technical problems hamper his efforts.
And now it seems a return to the team where he won the 2009 Privateer Cup could be on the cards.
Woollacott told Motorcycle News:
“I’ll make no secret that I’ve had talks with Gary.”
