Lichfield’s MP has said it is “vital” people have their say about the environmental impact of HS2.
The closing date for a consultation on the issue has been extended until February 27.
But Michael Fabricant says people must follow the correct procedure.
“It is important that submissions are made direct to the Department for Transport’s agents in London and not to me as that may cause delays and prevent the submission being made in time,” he said. “It is vital that your voice is heard.”
Responses should be sent to Freepost RTEC-AJUT-GGHH, HS2 Phase One Bill Environmental Statement, PO Box 70178, London WC1A 9HS, or via email to HS2PhaseOneBillES@dialoguebydesign.com. Responses should include a full name and address.
