A COMMUNITY event in Lichfield has been postponed due to the wet weather.
A dog show and fun day run by the Lichfield Bower had been scheduled to take place tomorrow (30th August).
But organisers have now confirmed it will not go ahead.
A spokesperson said:
"Rain is forecast for most of the day today and starting shortly after we were due to open tomorrow – and we are pretty sure no one really wants soggy dogs or drenched kids.
"The cheque presentation for the charities that helped collect money on Bower day will still go ahead, but it will now be in the club room."
