WHITTINGTON got their season off to the perfect start with a 6-0 hammering of Pelsall Villa Colts.
The village side made a dream start to their Staffordshire Football League Division Two South campaign as Oliver Chapman put them in front on ten minutes.
Further goals from Edward Hardy, Owen Thomas and George Guy made it 5-0 at the break.
Pelsall found some resolve in the second half as Whittington were only able to add one more to the tally as Luis Painter wrapped up the scoring 15 minutes from time.
