The Conservatives have held onto seats in the Stowe ward for Lichfield City Council and Lichfield District Council.
Joanne Grange took the seat vacated following the resignation of her party colleague David Smedley.
The Lichfield District Council vote saw her land 513 votes, with Labour second with 299. The Lib Dems took 217, while Something New collected 59 votes and the Green Party 56.
Meanwhile, the Lichfield City Council vote saw the Conservatives claim 387 votes ahead of Labour with 278, the Lib Dems with 183 and Something New with 58.
The turnout for the Lichfield District Council vote was 23.3%, while the Lichfield City Council ballot had a turnout of 22.6%.

Hardly a landslide victory given less than a quarter of the voting population turned out. Can’t understand people not using their vote.
