Lichfield’s newest councillor says she’s “delighted” to have won two by-election votes.
Joanne Grange will represent the Conservatives on Lichfield City Council and Lichfield District Council after coming out on top in the vote.
Her victory means the Conservatives hang on to both seats following the resignation of previous incumbent David Smedley.
“I am delighted to have gained the confidence of the Stowe residents and to be their representative on the city and district councils,” she said.
“I’d like to thank everyone that took the time to talk to me while I was canvassing. I’ve gained some valuable insight during the campaign, but I’d urge people to get in touch if they need my assistance on specific issues.”
