The George & Dragon pub on Beacon Street is throwing a Bonfire party on November 5th in order to raise money for Macmillan nurses.
The pub is planning to take advantage of the spacious beer garden at the back – once a vantage point used by Royalist troops during the Civil War – to stage some outdoor festivities. Amongst the night’s entertainment there will be a hog roast, bonfire, professional fireworks display, outdoor bar and live music.
Events begin at 7pm with the main fireworks display taking place around 9pm.
Entry is free and families are welcome.
