Plant equipment worth £200,000 has been stolen from a demolition site in Lichfield.

Raiders struck at Packington Hall on Tamworth Road between 5.30pm on Tuesday (5th March) and 6.30am the following morning.

They cut down metal fencing before taking seven pieces of equipment – weighting between two and six tonnes, onto a flatbed lorry before heading towards Lichfield on the A51.
Detectives are particularly interested to hear from anyone who may have come across any plant equipment with the same serial number – ARMACC5 2780KGS – as the one on the single item left behind.
Anyone who has any information or anyone that may have seen the lorry or has come across the plant equipment is asked to email Howard.Davies@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk. Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
