COMMUNITY groups, charities and voluntary organisations are being invited to apply for grant funding from Lichfield City Council.
The past year saw the authority hand out £50,000 in awards to projects supporting residents living within the city boundary.
Priority will be given in the next funding round for projects addressing challenges caused by the cost of living, tackling climate change, promoting inclusion, supporting the needs of young people and enhancing the cultural and creative life of the city.
Grants can be used to support an organisation's ongoing activities or to help deliver a specific project or initiative.
The chair of Lichfield City Council's Grants Committee, Cllr Colin Ball, said:
"Lichfield is fortunate to have so many dedicated organisations and volunteers making a positive difference in our communities.
"Through the grants programme, the city council is proud to support projects that improve the lives of local people.
"We are particularly keen to receive applications that help deliver our key priorities, including initiatives that strengthen the city's thriving arts and cultural sector."
Application forms are available at lichfield.gov.uk/grants or by emailing administration@lichfield.gov.uk.
