A man has died after a crash on the A38 in Fradley.
Emergency services were called to the southbound carriageway at 4.25am this morning (March 4) after a blue articulated lorry and a Volkswagen Bora collided.
The 21-year-old male driver of the Bora was taken by ambulance to the Queens Medical Centre in Birmingham where he died a short time later.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “Specialist officers are supporting the family of the deceased man at this difficult time.
“Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw either the Volkswagen Bora or the other vehicle prior to the collision or those that saw the incident itself.”
Witnesses are asked to asked to call 101, quoting incident 144 of 4 March.
