AN area of Lichfield has been cordoned off after a man was stabbed.
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance on Dimbles Lane at around 12.30am today (24th July).
A man was found with stab injuries and taken to hospital. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
"Officers and specialist teams are completing searches and forensic examinations at the scene and cordons remain in place.
"We are appealing for anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time to contact us. Call 101, quoting incident 23 of 24th July."
