Community first responders in Fazeley have scooped an award for their work.
The Tame group were recognised in West Midlands Ambulance Service’s Excellence in the Community Awards.
Keith Dawson collected the Distinguished Service award on behalf of the group, who also picked up the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service earlier this year.
“Over 2,000 volunteers work on a regular basis to support the ambulance service here in the West Midlands and I am really grateful for all the support they provide,” said West Midlands Ambulance Service’s chief executive Anthony Marsh.
