Cash and electrical items have been stolen during a break-in in Lichfield.
Police say an elderly resident disturbed two men in his home in the Dimbles area at around 1.15am this morning (August 19).
Both wore face coverings and one was carrying a metal bar. They are believed to have entered the house via an unlocked door.
Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Paul Whitehouse at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 47 of August 19.
