With the football season reaching a climax, fans are being urged to get their summer soccer fix by joining leagues in Burntwood.
The Leisure Leagues competition, which runs at Burntwood Leisure Centre, will continue to run once the traditional season closes.
Leisure Leagues Senior Manager Chris Rowntree said:
“As much as the summer is a great time of the year, it just doesn’t feel right without football on tap. Leisure Leagues offers the opportunity to play the game all year round, and who wouldn’t want that?
“We cater for all standards, and have a number of Saturday and Sunday teams who take advantage of the first class facilities during the break. It offers the opportunity to keep those fitness levels up, and we also encourage anyone considering dusting off the boots to get involved.”
