Burntwood RUFC have unveiled plans for a new floodlit training area.
The club have applied for planning permission to install four 16-metre high floodlights at their Sportsway home.
In a supporting statement, the club said:
“With 11 football teams and two cricket teams, the existing facilities are used to their maximum. Because the main playing area has floodlighting, during the winter months this pitch gets more use because of the night time training.
“The requirement for additional floodlighting away from areas used for match days, means all sports can use this training area throughout the year.”
