A Burntwood school could be set for a drastic name change.
Chasetown Specialist Sports College is set to become an academy – and could see the area’s name dropped from its title altogether.
One of the new names being considered by the school is the Erasmus Darwin Academy.
Despite local reports the name change has already been decided, an source at the school insisted the name was one of a number being considered as the school looks into the possibility of becoming an academy.
And the change could be costly for parents too, with a uniform change set to accompany any new name.
