Burntwood Town slipped into the bottom half of the table after a narrow 4-3 home defeat against Leamington Hibernian.
The Midland Combination Division Two side now have nine points from their opening eight games and occupy tenth spot.
Their task won’t get any easier next weekend, though, as second placed Henley Forest provide the opposition.
