Burntwood Town’s recent run of form came to an end after they were beaten 5-2 by Perrywood.
The Midland Combination Division Two leaders were always going to be a tough nut to crack but Town certainly gave it a go.
Goals from Reece Gentles and Alastair Holding gave Burntwood enough positives to go forward into their next game.
Town return to action when they entertain Henley Forest on Saturday (October 27).
