The Burntwood Wakes has been boosted thanks to a £1,000 grant from the We Love Lichfield Fund.
Cllr Heather Tranter, chair of Burntwood Town Council’s events committee, received the cheque after an event last week.
“The grant is much appreciated and will be used to provide a variety of entertainment and activities for all ages including the mini zoo, Punch and Judy, dog obedience and Uttoxeter Heart of Oak Morris Men,” she said.
“The Burntwood Wakes Festival will take place at Burntwood Leisure Centre on July 1 – come along and enjoy all that will be on offer.”
