MEETINGS are being held with local businesses as part of plans for a closure of a key route in Lichfield for 11 days later this year.
The A38 is expected to shut in both directions from Swinfen Interchange to Hilliard’s Cross for 11 days in March as part of ongoing HS2 works.
A business working group is now being set up to keep local companies informed about the proposed works.
A spokesperson said:
“Meetings will start in January on a fortnightly basis. From March, we will meet
weekly as we approach the anticipated A38 carriageway closures later that month.
“Each session will be attended by our team of experts, who will be available to answer questions about the closures and address any concerns.
“We look forward to your participation and to working together to minimise disruption
and support local businesses throughout these proposed works.”
Businesses interested in joining the working group can email wendy.mcseveney@balfourbeattyvinci.com.
