A CARE provider is offering funding to support a local project helping older people.
Bluebird Care Tamworth, Lichfield, Nuneaton and North Warwickshire, which provides home care services, is offering £250 through its Community Grant scheme.
It is the sixth time the initiative has run, with previously supported projects tackling loneliness and creating opportunities for older people to stay active through community groups.
Director Martin Lahert said:
“We are delighted to once again offer our Community Grant to support the fantastic work being done by local groups in Lichfield.
“We know there are so many organisations making a real difference to the lives of older people, whether that’s tackling isolation, providing activities, or offering vital support services.
“This grant is about helping those groups continue and grow their work, and we are excited to hear about the projects and ideas from across the community.”
Groups and charities can submit their proposals via email to hannahburgess@bluebirdcare.co.uk before the end of May.
