CHASETOWN Football Club has celebrated a milestone for a key figure in the club’s history.

Mick Joiner’s connection stretches back to his time with Chase Terrace Old Scholars back in 1966 – a journey that has continued to this day.

To mark the milestone, the club’s hospitality area has been officially named The Joiner Suite.

A spokesperson for the club said:

“Over six remarkable decades, Mick’s loyalty, leadership, passion, and hard work have helped shape Chasetown Football Club into the club it is today.

“Mick played a major role in guiding the club through the local leagues and helping secure its place in the West Midlands League. He was also instrumental in the development of The Scholars Ground, helping to create the home that players, supporters and the wider community are proud of today.

“In recognition of 60 years of outstanding service, commitment, and devotion, Chasetown Football Club is honoured to officially name its hospitality suite The Joiner Suite.

“This is a fitting tribute to a man whose vision, passion, and dedication have helped build the foundations of the football club and whose legacy will continue to inspire future generations.”
