Chasetown FC’s fine pre-season form continued with a comfortable win at Sporting Khalsa.
The visitors took the lead when Jack Langston’s effort looped up and eluded the home keeper.
Joey Butlin converted the first of two Scholars penalties after Josh Cooke was fouled. He then added a third with with a stunning free-kick.
Khalsa reduced the deficit, but Chasetown regained a three-goal cushion when a shot was parried and Alex Curtis fired home the rebound.
Oli Hayward stepped up to convert penalty number two, to round off a 5-1 win behind closed doors.
