Works to solve the issue on Chasetown High Street in April failed to fix the problem.

Now Staffordshire County Council has informed residents that the road will shut for more drainage works to take place between July 5 and 8.

An emergency road closure notice states that the road will be closed between Edwards Road and Queen Street.
